Folio is completely free. There are no upgraded versions or subscriptions, so you have full access to Folio at no cost.
Is Folio For Absolute Beginners?
Folio is a reading tool for learners looking to rapidly improve comprehension and vocabulary. We do not teach grammar or language basics, but we support levels from A1 to C1. Try reading a story at A1 and see if you can understand it!
Why Not Use Flashcards?
Learning how to use vocabulary in context is as important as knowing the meaning of a word. Reading texts allows your brain to notice sentence structure and vocab usage simultaneously, allowing for natural language learning.
How Does Integrated Active Recall Work?
Every word you save is instantly stored in your personal vocab list. As you read more stories and texts, Folio will continuously reintroduce your newly added words until you’ve mastered them. You can always start a review to go over the words you have saved.
What Languages Can I Learn?
